New Mexico Governor Susana Martinez has declared January "Learn a Snow Sport Month". 

Ski New Mexico teams with KOAT-7 TV to offer youths 6 - 12 a $50.00 beginner package during January. More than 7,000 children have benefited from the KOAT Kids Learn to Ski & Snowboard program -- now entering its fifth year. The program starts on Jan. 1, 2018 and runs through Jan. 31, 2018.

Reservations for the youth program are required and are being taken from January 2, 2018 through January 31, 2018. Those wanting to make a reservation must contact the desired resort directly. Participating resorts are:
