Bring a Friend

Most newcomers are introduced to skiing and snowboarding through a friend or family member. "Bring a Friend" is a way to share the love of skiing and snowboarding with others by helping them sign up for lessons from professional instructors. The best way to learn or improve is to take lessons from a pro.

Ski and snowboard venues offer beginner learning programs all winter long. Some are called "Bring a Friend".  January is Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month when many venues provide their best deals. Offers vary so it is best to use our Find Resorts locator for details. Many retailers provide valuable information for beginners. Shops are listed in our Find Gear menu tab.

The Bring a Friend Challenge is over for this year and we soon will be announcing our new Ambassador of the Year (see below).

AMBASSADOR of the YEAR

Help multiple people and you could be named our Ambassador of the Year - See Last Year's Winner Scott Kolts. Grand prize is a season pass to a selected venue for 2015-16, an outfit from The North Face, gloves from Seirus, goggles from Zeal, undergarments from Polarmax, and a $250 gift voucher from skis.com/snowboards.com.

Visit snow sports specialty retail shops for information about apparel, equipment and accessories. Most shops are open all year long. Visit our Find Gear menu tab for a list of shops.
