Adventure Camp Days Starting at PA's Blue Mountain

Palmerton, Pennsylvania (April 2016) – The weather is getting warmer, days are getting longer and school will soon be out for the summer! Blue Mountain Resort offers a variety of outdoor adventure all year long and is excited to kick off their 2016 Blue Mountain Adventure Camp season. Parents and kids are invited to Camp Tour Days in April and May to learn how they can add discovery, exploration, and outdoor adventure to this year’s summer break!

Blue Mountain Adventure Camp is offering a guided tour of its summer programming and camp facilities to interested parents and potential campers. Blue Mountain Resort’s Camp Tour Days will be Sunday, April 17 and 24 as well as Saturday, May 7 and 14, beginning at 1pm. The event is free for families and open to the public. Registration is required. Please call 610-826-7700 to book your family’s spot on the tour.

In addition to receiving information about the 2016 camp programs, guests will venture on a guided tour of the Adventure Center, Valley Adventure Park, Frontier Center for our overnight campers and more! The tour will end at the Summit Aerial Course, where participating families can experience the Summit Aerial Park high ropes course for FREE (a $45 value.) Plus, as a ‘thank you’ for attending Camp Tour Day, each family will receive a FREE appetizer at Slopeside Pub & Grill. Lastly, anyone who books their summer camp on a Camp Tour Day will receive a $25.00 Blue Mountain gift card!

Programmed by outdoor professionals passionate for adventure, Blue Mountain Adventure Camp features a full outdoor schedule of daily adventures that will inspire and challenge campers. Daily activities include high and low ropes courses, paddle boarding, climbing walls, BMX biking, laser tag, whitewater rafting, archery and more. Through guidance and positive encouragement from our experienced counselors, Blue Mountain Adventure Campers are motivated to face challenges that build confidence and strength and create long lasting memories.

New for the 2016 season, Blue Mountain is hosting children from China who will take part in Adventure Camp for the weeks of July 25, 2016 & August 8, 2016. This is a wonderful opportunity for children to make friends with children from another country and learn about their culture and customs, as the Chinese campers hope to learn more about American culture.

Blue Mountain Adventure Camp offers 7 weekly sessions of Day Camp for ages 8-14, beginning June 27 through August 8. Overnight-Camp sessions, for ages 10-14, are offered the weeks of June 27, July 11 and 25, and August 8.
