The contest runs through February 28, 2018.
Entry is simple. Beginners just need to post a photo of themselves – with or without friends/family – on their first day learning from a professional instructor. They must use the hash tag #firstdayface in the post on their favorite social media platform. Photos will be posted on the learntoskiandsnowboard.org web site.
Three winners will be selected right after the Winter Games conclude on February 28. The contest has nothing to do with the Olympics. It started January 5 in conjunction with the official start of Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month.
