Alaska's Eaglecrest Applications for its 36th Annual Learn to Ski Weekend (Feb 3/4)

Eaglecrest is now accepting applications for the 36th Annual Learn to Ski Weekend on February 3rd & 4th.This weekend is a time honored tradition at Eaglecrest and is a great opportunity for 3rd, 4th and 5th grade first time skiers to get on the mountain and learn something new. The applications are due January 26th, when a random drawing of 40 applicants will receive bus transportation, rentals, lift tickets, lessons both day and lunch.
Eaglecrest is an active participant in the national U.S. initiative Learn to Ski and Snowboard Month/Bring a Friend taking place during the month of January. The web site is www.learntoskiandsnowboard.org.
The generous sponsorship from Mendenhall Auto and Subaru make this weekend possible on the mountain and we thank them for their continued support over the years. With their support, Eaglecrest is able to encourage the youth of Juneau to come to the mountain and make friends while learning something new.
Jeffra Clough, Director of Marketing and Snowsport School, who has been a part of Learn to Ski Weekend for over 20 years states, “We are excited for the chance to connect with the youth of Juneau and keep this tradition alive with the help of Mendenhall Auto and Subaru. It’s going to be a great weekend!”
